Covering the 2018 FIFA World Cup, she became the first female football pundit on a World Cup for the BBC and has been presenting ever since Football focuscoverage of women’s football on the BBC and the 2020 Olympics alongside Clare Balding.
Klinsmann earned 108 caps for Germany and is one of the most respected players of the 1990s, winning the World Cup in 1990 and the European Championship in 1996. Klinsmann also led Germany and the United States in World Cups, most recently under Hertha Berlin in the Bundesliga. The German is a regular on the BBC during World Cups and was a pundit during the 2018 final.
Richards played for Manchester City for 10 years between 2005 and 2015, spending the last season on loan at Fiorentina in Serie A before moving to Aston Villa. The former defender won two titles, made 15 appearances for England and played for Great Britain at the 2012 Olympics. Richards is an expert on Sky Sports, BBC Sport and the US network CBS Sports, and appears on radio and television, including Match of the Day.
