Tottenham report: Mutiny at Spurs as several players seek to sack Antonio Conte

Tottenham Hotspur are seemingly in a state of crisis, with several first-team members seeking to sack Antonio Conte following the Italian’s outburst to the media following Spurs’ 3-3 draw with Southampton on Saturday.
After leading 3–1 with just 15 minutes remaining, Spurs squandered their two-goal lead at bottom of the table Southampton, leading Conte to slam his players – and the club’s hierarchy – in the post-match press conference.
“They’re not playing for anything important,” said Conte. “They don’t want to play under pressure, they don’t want to play under stress.
“It’s easy this way. This is the story of Tottenham. The owner has been there for 20 years, but they have never won anything. But why? The blame lies only with the club, or with any manager who stays here?

“I’ve seen the managers Tottenham had on the bench. So far I’m trying to hide the situation, but not now because, I repeat, I don’t want to see what I saw today, because this is unacceptable and also unacceptable for the fans.”
Reports of The sun Now imagine that several players at Tottenham would like to see Antonio Conte sacked before their next game, against Everton on April 3 in the Premier League.
Spurs owner Joe Lewis and club president Daniel Levy could make the decision on the upcoming international break, with the majority of the squad moving away from their club to join their national teams.
Conte also criticized the media for trying to defend the players and blaming him instead.
“You find an alibi, another alibi,” he added.
“You’re trying to find an excuse for the players. OK, keep doing this, find an excuse for the players. You’re only doing this. You’re only doing this. Apologies for the players.” we lost confidence, they lost courage, they lost being the team.” Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. Try to protect them every time.”
Players who are not currently on international duty will report to the training field on Tuesday on a pre-planned two days off.
Conte is out of contract in the summer and it seems increasingly unlikely that Tottenham will offer him a new contract, and that he would even sign one if given the chance to stay.
