Rohit Sharma, Sourav Ganguly and others react as India beat England in U19 Women’s T20 World Cup final

India made history on Sunday (January 29) when they clinched the inaugural edition of the Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup final by beating England in the final.
India chased a paltry target of 69 and reached the set total in 14 overs with 7 wickets in hand.
Earlier was India’s bowling attack led by a fast bowler Titas Sadhu and leg spinner Parshavi Chopra, delivered a superlative after opting to compete first. Sadhu returned with impressive figures of 4-0-6-2 as Chopra broke two wickets for 13 runs.
Sadhu was named ‘Player of the Match’ for her economic enchantment.
“The way all the girls perform and support each other, so happy. Incredible feeling. Thanks to the staff, the way they support us every day and tell us that we are here for the cup and thanks to them we are here. All thanks to them’ Shafali Vermasaid the winning captain at the post-match presentation ceremony.
“The players supported me a lot. Thanks to BCCI for giving me this wonderful team and very happy to win the cup,” she added.
