An all round performance of Shaheen Afridi inspired Lahore Qalandars to a thrilling victory in the high-scoring 2023 Pakistan Super League (PSL) Final against Multan sultans Saturday at the Gaddafi Stadium. Qalandars secured a one-point victory to become PSL champions for the second time in a row.

Shaheen’s 15-ball 44 undefeated knock along with Abdullah Shafique‘s 40-ball 65, helped the Qalandars finish with 200/6 in their allotted 20 overs. Mirza Baig (30) and Fakhar Zaman (39) also made valuable contributions.
