Newcastle United vs Bournemouth live stream and match preview
Looking for a live stream of Newcastle United vs Bournemouth? We’ve got you covered.
Eddie Howe’s side will look to pick up where they left off before the break for the 2022 World Cup. Newcastle (opens in new tab) had a fantastic start to the season, losing just one of their first 15 games in the Premier League to finish third ahead of the campaign resumption on Boxing Day.
Before the action got underway, Newcastle were tipped to potentially challenge for Europa League qualification.
So far they have certainly exceeded expectations. The Magpies look like real contenders for a top four finish, largely due to an exceptional defensive record: no team in the division has conceded as few goals as Howe’s men.
With no silverware since 1955, Newcastle fans are desperate for the club to lift a trophy sooner rather than later. The Carabao Cup, in which they have already eliminated Tranmere Rovers and Crystal Palace (opens in new tab)offers the possibility to do so.
Bournemouth (opens in new tab) have also outperformed pre-season predictions, although there is still a long way to go in 2022/23. They are 14th in the Premier League standings, although the Cherries lost four of their last five games before the break.
In this competition, Gary O’Neil’s men beat Norwich on penalties before thrashing Everton (opens in new tab) 4-1 in the last round. They are through to the fourth round for the first time since the 2018/19 season.
Bournemouth will have to do without first-choice goalkeeper Neto, who is struggling with a hamstring injury. This match may come a few days early for Lloyd Kelly and David Brooks, who are both on their way back to fitness.
Newcastle are left without Alex Isak due to injury, while Fabian Schar may not be ready to start after a spell of illness. Paul Dummett, Emil Krafth and Joelinton are also in the treatment room and no one will be involved here.

VPN guide
If you’re abroad for a round of Carabao Cup action, your domestic on-demand services are annoyingly down – the broadcaster knows where you are because of your IP address (boo!). You’ll be blocked from watching it, which isn’t ideal if you’ve paid for a subscription and still want to see the action without resorting to pirated feeds found on Reddit.
But help is available. To get around that, all you need to do is purchase a Virtual Private Network (VPN), assuming it meets your broadcaster’s terms and conditions. A VPN creates a private connection between your device and the internet, meaning the service can’t find out where you are and won’t automatically block the service you paid for. All information that passes between them is fully encrypted – and that’s a result.
There are plenty of great value options out there, as well FourFourTwo currently recommends:
