It was a complete stroke error for MI; Surya scored the highest score for Rohit’s team and was the only batter to reach the fifty-run mark. With powerful blows and intelligent shot selection, he kept the hopes of MI supporters alive. But after the fall of Surya’s wicket, Gujarat bowlers’ claws tightened and it became difficult for Mumbai’s batters to strike freely. MI’s score was 155-4 at one point, but soon it became 171-10.
