Insider’s new update on Lakers, D’Angelo Russell

An NBA insider thinks the Los Angeles Lakers’ best bet is to re-sign D’Angelo Russell this summer.

According to ESPN front office insider Bobby Marks, Russell is eligible through June 30 to sign a two-year, $67.5 million extension with the Lakers. If overtime is not reached between Russell and the Lakers, the All-Star guard will hit unlimited free duty.
