After winning their group, Brazil ruthlessly dismantled South Korea (opens in new tab) in their round of 16 clash to set up a meeting with Croatia.
The game was over before half time as the tournament favorites rioted – Vinicius Jr, Neymar, Richarlison and Lucas Paqueta all made it onto the scoresheet in a convincing victory.
A much tougher test awaits against the team of Zlatko Dalic, who reached the final in Russia four years ago and only conceded twice in this tournament.
They had to rely on penalties to get past Japan (opens in new tab) Takumi Minamino, Kaoru Mitoma and Maya Yoshida all failed to score from the spot.
The kick-off is at 15:00 GMT. Make sure you know how to watch World Cup 2022 wherever you are.
Team news
Neymar recovered from an ankle injury to star in the victory over South Korea, but Gabriel Jesus and Alex Telles have been ruled out of the rest of the World Cup.
With Alex Sandro still struggling, Danilo is likely to keep his place at left back, while Eder Militao fills in at right.
Croatia has no new concerns and will hope that Stuttgart’s Borna Sosa recovers from illness in time to start on the left side of defense for Borna Barisic.
Form
After resting players in their last group match, Brazil defeated South Korea in the second round with their strongest team. In contrast, Croatia held Japan back through Ivan Perisic’s ball header to advance on penalties.

Players to watch / Important battles
Croatia will need to be at their best to beat Brazil’s string of agile forwards, led by Neymar, Vinicius Jr. and Richarlison, out of the door. Goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic and in-demand central defender Josko Gvardiol have impressed so far and will need to do so again to disrupt the chances.

VPN guide
If you’re abroad for the 2022 World Cup, you won’t be able to watch on your domestic streaming service as usual. The broadcaster knows where you are because of your IP address (boo!) and blocks you from watching it. However, you can use a VPN to get around that, without resorting to illegal feeds found on Reddit.
A Virtual Private Network (VPN), assuming it meets your broadcaster’s terms and conditions, creates a private connection between your device and the internet, meaning the service can’t determine where you are and let you watch. And all the information that passes between them is completely encrypted, anonymous and secure – and that’s a result.
