Soccer Aid 2023 kicks off this summer on Sunday, June 11, with two all-star lineups competing to raise money for charity.
Started in 2006 as an initiative by Robbie Williams to raise money for Unicef ​​as a bi-annual event during tournament years, Soccer Aid has since grown into the world’s largest celebrity football competition now taking place annually.
Some of the biggest names in the sport are in the game, with some big stars from the showbiz world as well.

Soccer Aid 2023 will be broadcast live on Sunday 11th June with the match kicking off at 7.30pm BST.
Coverage of the game starts an hour beforehand at 6.30pm with ITV 1, ITVX online and STV all showing the charity game.

Who will play at Soccer Aid 2023?
Euro 2022 winner Jill Scott will captain England at Soccer Aid 2023 and make her debut in the charity game alongside former professionals such as Jack Wilshere, Karen Carney and Gary Cahill.
World XI, meanwhile, will have Usain Bolt as their captain, the sprint legend joined by football legends such as Roberto Carlos, Gabriel Batistuta and Francesco Totti, among others.
In total, England consists of 22 players, while there are 20 players for the World XI coaches to choose from.

Musician Stormzy will lead England at Soccer Aid, with current Chelsea Women’s boss Emma Hayes, actor Vicky McClure, former Tottenham and West Ham manager Harry Redknapp and ex-Arsenal goalkeeper David Seaman assisting him during the match.
Hayes and Redknapp were co-managers at Soccer Aid last year.

Soccer Aid has changed venues again for 2023 and the match will be played at Manchester United’s Old Trafford.
Previous editions have all hosted Stamford Bridge, the Etihad Stadium and West Ham’s London Stadium, although Old Trafford has been the most used ground since Soccer Aid started in 2006.
