Christian Pulisic’s value rises after every World Cup match
Christian Pulisic may not light up the tournament in the goalscoring department like other stars. However, the American proves that his potential far exceeds his performance under Graham Potter at Chelsea. Consequently, Pulisic skyrockets his value with every appearance by being a game changer for the United States.
Pulisic already had a big money move. Chelsea paid Borussia Dortmund $65 million for the American at the start of 2019. It’s safe to say it’s been a disappointing spell at Stamford Bridge so far. Injuries are no help, but Pulisic’s inconsistent form and lack of production are detrimental to the support of the club’s discerning fanbase.
In fact, Transfermarkt is now just shy of pinging its value $40 million. This is a third less than the same value just two years ago.
Pulisic’s value rises with every match at the World Cup
Based on his playing time, it is clear that the current Chelsea coaching staff are not judging Pulisic. In 18 appearances for the Blues, Pulisic played over 45 minutes four times.
