Arsenal report: Gunners identify Serie A star as main target in midfield
Arsenal have inquired about the availability of Weston McKennie as they consider a transfer of the Juventus midfielder, reports said.
The Gunners have already welcomed Leandro Trossard and Jakub Kiwior to the Emirates Stadium this month, but their winter transfer deals may not be complete yet.

According to Italian publication La Gazzetta dello Sport (opens in new tab)Arsenal have asked Juventus if they want to say goodbye to McKennie this month.
The United States international has started in 18 games in all competitions this season for the Bianconeriwho were recently deducted 15 points for transfer irregularities.
The transfer insider Fabrizio Romano (opens in new tab) states that Leeds also hope to bring in McKennie, but that they have not yet made any arrangements with Juventus or the player.
Juventus are open to letting McKennie go as they want to raise money for the purchase of a winger, which is Max Allegri’s main priority.
The former Schalke man could be available for just £22.6 million plus bonuses, while the Gazzetta report adds that he would only leave Juventus for a similarly sized club.
That suggests that McKennie would indeed be considering a move to North London, where he would become Premier League champions within a few months of joining the club.
Arsenal return to action on Friday night with a FA Cup fourth-round draw against Manchester City.
